Most pets become stressed during a move. If necessary, provide lodging for your pets by calling ahead. The interent is a good source for information. NEVER leave your pets in a locked car. Make sure your pet has an ID tag with name, phone number that will link you to your pet if your pet becomes lost. Please be sure to check out the laws in your new location in case things do not go as planned, to reduce the stress on both you and your pets. If your animals were to get lost please remember to check with the local shelter. Take pictures of your animals so they can be identified.
